hello everyone
its the morning after the radio show in Osaka
im gonna drop all this stuff on you in one foul swoop ok
name drop that is
and fact and figure drop if you will
i dont know
preferably i dont want to sound like a wanker but i thought that some of you
would be interested
so here i wank
ill finish with the radio thing cause thats the big one
alright
back to San Fran in the states
big weekend at and around the Power to the Peaceful concert
got to hang out with Xavier, John Butler, Micheal Franti and Spearhead. The
concert in the park was phenomenal. 60 000 people plus, all there to
celebrate life and say no to war and violence.
can you imagine??? it really was amazing. the place was abuzz with good
vibes. we played the after party with Spearhead. what is with those guys.
they do not stop. they are a musical machine.
all up that day i think they played for about 5 hours. ha. thats crazy. what
champions.
that weekend was just too good.

then there was Vancouver,BC,Canada
i never did find Xavier that nite but i did manage to find a friend, Josh,
who works for Jack Johnson and Ben Harper and crew. Josh hooked us up with
backstage stuff for the Jack, G. Love, Donovan show that nite. what a
legend. we missed Donovans set cause we were sound checking for our gig down
the road but we watched G.Love and Jack play and of course they all play
together later on. so yeah, we watched those guys do it up which was just
too excitement for us because, just incase you didnt know, we are massive
fans of all those guys, and we havent seen any of em play for a while now.
but thats not even the best bit
check this.
inbetween songs Jack did us up and told his 10 000 plus audience that his
friends The Beautiful Girls we`re doing a gig just down the road as soon as
his gig was over. can you believe it? he seriously buffed us out you know?
shit. what a champ.
and what do you think happened?
our gig was packed!!!
people couldnt get in the door.
fuck
ive gotta send him a bottle of grog for Xmas. what a guy. ha
yeah so that was so sick
and you`d think that was enough but then...........

................drum roll..................

..........G.Love got up at our gig with Chris.D and they busted out some
rhymes which was completely fucking hilarious because by that time we were
all so pissed it (G.Love and Chris included) was holding together by a
thread. haaaaaaaaaa!!!!
and all the while Josh (the worlds best human ever) was sitting in the
corner chilling, watching, nodding his head to the music just loving it.
that was so cool to see him so stoked after how heavily he`d stoked us out
so yeah
what a nite
so much excitement
too much excitement
it was just one of those special times you know???
a real Bobby Dazzler.

oh fuck
i forgot to say
i met Money Mark (champion)
the drummer from The Breeders (fuck. forgot his name. but, legend. super
nice fella)
and i stood next to Mix Master Mike but i didnt meet him cause his bodygaurd
was way too scary
and there was that brief encounter with Kelly Osbourne. ha

umm..
oh yeah
ok
now Japan

that show last nite?

that was broadcast to 6 million people
