Tudo bem in Brazil
how are you guys?
our long and weathered North American
road finally came to an end folks
right there in terminal 4, John Wayne
Airport, Los Angeles
it was 4 and a half
months, 56 gigs, approximately 50
hotels and around 40
000kms in the car
it was an adventure i hold dear to
my heart and i will never forget
i consider myself to be one of the
luckiest bastards on Earth and i thank
whatever and whoever has brought me
to this
anyway
enough of that
the tour was sick dog
so much fun
not to much booze
definately too many cigarettes
thats Neals fault
he kept telling me to smoke them
we met about a million
Americans and we probably met a million
Canadians but
i cant remember many of them because
i was so fucking ripped all the time
once again
Neals fault
they all smoke pot and they all insist
that you smoke with them
and its of top quality too
thats why its so hard to get into
the country
because the politicians know theyre
sitting on a nest egg there
theyre shipping that good stuff out
all over the world
they dont want no hoper Aussie bands
coming in and chipping away at their
gold
bastards
America doesnt care, theyll let you
in
cause their dope's shithouse...
...oh yeah
and we met 5 Mexicans
we went into Mexico one day from San
Diego
we had such a good time
id really love to get in there for
a couple of months or more and check
it
out
theyre such beautiful people and they
have epic surf spots littered along
the coast
one day
but its all about Brazil for now
speaking of
Neal's off to gay Paris
Matty's off to Indonesia to meditate
and Mitch has gone home to masturbate
Mitch has actually started
a side project to The Beautiful Girls
called
taking photos
he's got piles and piles of em
all on his digital camera
and now he's got a computer
he was doing some cool stuff with
em the other nite and what he's gonna
do
is set up a little slide show or gallery
or something on the site just for
youze to have a look at
its gonna be rad
so keep a look out for that
so anyway
the tour
we met some amazing people
saw some amazing sights
there was laughter
there were almost tears
i think we drove every American car
on the market thru Avis and Budget
we've flown every available airline
there is
we stayed in every motel chain
and you name a city
and theres a 90% chance we've been
to it
its a bizarre way to
travel ive gotta tell you
but i loved it
and for now
i wouldnt have it any other way
people kept asking me
if im homesick
and my answer was always truthfully
no
i didnt have enough time on my hands
to be homesick
i was just busy trying to take it
all in you know
it was a big adventure for a little
Aussie
now im in Brazil and
as nice as the idea of using a wardrobe
instead of a
freyed grey bag
and laying on my couch listening to
my Dad asking me when im gonna start
making money
and having a surf at Whale Beach sounds
im just so happy to be getting into
what is happening now
and what is happening now is we are
going to a festa (party) in the city
of
Sao Paulo which is the biggest craziest
city in Brazil
uhooooooo!!!
this should be rad providing i make
it home in one piece
speaking of Brazil and
Brazillians
i was just speaking to Felipe on the
phone
he lives about 10 hours south of Sao
Paulo in Santa Catarina
we are gonna hook up towards the end
of my trip and we will both head back
to Australia
do you know why?
because Felipe is gonna be playing
harp with us on the Aussie Tour in
July
and August
surprise!!!
so getting back to being
homesick and whatever
no, i never get homesick
but meu Deus
as Sarah Kate Rees would say "Holy
McFuck" im losing it over how
much fun
this tour in Oz is gonna be
Felipe is coming back to town kids
cuidado!!!!
look out!!!
ha
alright
ive gotta finish up
its festa time in Sao Paulo
and i really want to go and party
with these beautiful people
aahhhhhhhhhh!!!
take care of yourselves
enjoy the Autumn weather (or Spring
weather if youre in the Northern
Hemisphere)
be nice to each other
and dont be afraid to be like Teague
and astound c#$!s with random acts
of
rowdiness and brutal honesty
im off
love youze
Clay
one last thing i have
to say
thankyou so much to all the people
we met and/or partied with in America,
Canada and Mexico
we have been left with incredible
memories
see you next time
love from Clay
